Today, Governor Sununu signed SB 8, a town tuitioning bill often referred to as the Croydon bill. SB 8 clarifies that any town – not just towns that share a border with other states – may include non-religious private schools in their town tuitioning plans.
New Hampshire’s governor Chris Sununu (R) signed into law this month a bill that exempts “Persons who engage in the business of selling or issuing payment instruments or stored value solely in the form of convertible virtual currency or receive convertible virtual currency for transmission to another location” from the state’s existing regulations on money transmitters.
New Hampshire is an open carry state, meaning anyone who legally owns a gun can carry the firearm in the open. But before today, gun owners needed to get a license from local police or town officials to carry a loaded firearm concealed. From today forward, there is no longer a “suitable person” permit requirement to carry concealed.
