Aubrey moved from the cosmopolitan city of San Francisco to rural New Hampshire to find small government and a large community!
We moved into our home on March 17, 2018. Our family and friends call visits to our home “trips to Free America”. Nathan proposed two weeks after we moved in on April 1. We are getting married in May 2019, and are looking building our future and starting a family in the Free State.
We are loving living here in NH and so happy to be away from that tax crazed state of NJ. We both got immediate raises in our paychecks as New Jersey’s income tax no longer applies to us. It’s beautiful here and we anticipate many happy years together in our new house.
We arrived in July to our new home in Littleton, NH, where a group of amazing Porcupines were ready to help us move in. Our connections with the North Country group formed very quickly – this group is very family friendly!
The transition to life in New Hampshire has been much easier than we expected. We try to take every opportunity to attend the numerous gatherings each month and meet as many people as we can. We also try not only to get to know our new home town of Manchester, but to get out into the surrounding areas as much as we can, exploring all the wonderful things that New Hampshire has to offer, such as the gorgeous mountains, lakes and coast, and all the fascinating and rich history of New England in general.
